Luxury Bookings Expands Into the U.S. Market With a Focus on Personalized Travel

Long before he founded Luxury Bookings, Abdul Rashid learned the travel business one guest at a time. His first job in the industry put him behind the front desk at the Marriott London Heathrow, where travelers arrived at all hours carrying passports from every corner of the globe. The work looked simple on paper. Check guests in, answer their questions, send them up to their rooms. Abdul Rashid saw something much bigger in it.

"I used to enjoy meeting high-profile personalities from across the world, from multiple countries, cities and backgrounds," Abdul Rashid shared in a recent interview about his company. "That job gave me a boost, and my interest in the hospitality industry went to a whole new level."

That early fascination with people on the move eventually became the Dubai-based luxury travel and concierge company Abdul Rashid launched in January 2022.

That focus reaches beyond market share. Hajj and Umrah rank among the most meaningful journeys a Muslim can make, often years in the making and shared with the people they love most. Families want a travel partner who understands the weight of that trip, and Abdul Rashid believes his deep Middle East roots allow the company to bring that understanding home to Texas.

"At Luxury Bookings, we maintain strong relationships with our clients and partners by focusing on trust, personalized service and consistent communication," Abdul Rashid shared.

From a Hotel Front Desk in London to Founding a Luxury Travel Company in Dubai

Abdul Rashid grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his intermediate education at Premier College Karachi before moving to the United Kingdom to study hospitality. He earned his degree from the London College of Computing & Management Science UK, picking up internships and part-time hotel jobs along the way.

After finishing his studies, he moved to Dubai in search of bigger opportunities. He landed a managerial position at Grand Midwest Hotel Dubai Media City and went on to work at four & five Star hotels across the city. Each role gave him another look at how luxury hospitality runs from the inside, and at what high-end guests expect the moment they hand over their plans.

By the time he launched Luxury Bookings, Abdul Rashid had noticed a pattern. Travelers headed to Dubai were bouncing between separate websites to book flights, hotels, airport transfers and excursions. He set out to bring all of it under one roof.

"From flight booking, hotel and airport pickup to all UAE excursions, car rental, meetings and events, we are a one-of-a-kind company in the UAE, providing all travel solutions via a single point of contact," Abdul Rashid explained.

Today the company holds contracts with more than 1,500 hotels across the region, spanning a wide range of categories, amenities and locations. Its team stays reachable around the clock through WhatsApp, phone and email, and clients receive instant confirmation on hotels, activities and transportation booked worldwide.

Abdul Rashid built the company on the idea that a luxury traveler should never feel alone in the process, from the first message to the final checkout.

"Our dedicated team provides personalized support from the initial conversation to the moment our clients check out of their hotel stay," Abdul Rashid said. "We maintain constant connectivity through WhatsApp. Once a booking is confirmed, we provide guests with comprehensive details about hotel policies, procedures and all relevant information, ensuring they are fully informed about what to expect during their stay."

Luxury Bookings USA LLC Opens a New Chapter of Growth in Austin, Texas

In 2024, Abdul Rashid took the first formal step toward the American market by registering Luxury Bookings USA LLC in Austin. The sister company will lead the U.S. expansion and gives the brand a home base in the Texas capital.

The move follows a pattern that has defined Abdul Rashid's career. He builds relationships first and lets the business grow out of them. Roughly five years of Middle East travel relationships now serve as the foundation he plans to carry into an entirely new market.

"Luxury Bookings USA LLC, our sister company based in Austin, Texas, will spearhead our expansion into the U.S. market," Abdul Rashid said. "We are committed to increasing our investment in this expansion."

The early focus is deliberately narrow. Instead of attempting to recreate the full Dubai operation overnight, the company plans to start with hotel tours and faith-based travel packages while laying the groundwork with local partners.

Abdul Rashid believes the same listening-first approach that shaped the business in Dubai will guide its next steps in Texas.

"Most importantly, we listen to our clients," Abdul Rashid said. "Their feedback, travel preferences and evolving expectations help us identify what is becoming increasingly important in luxury travel, such as personalized experiences, wellness, privacy, unique destinations and seamless service."

Hajj and Umrah Packages Designed Around the Needs of the Muslim Community in Texas

Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that every Muslim who is physically and financially able is expected to complete at least once in a lifetime. Umrah, often called the lesser pilgrimage, can be performed at nearly any time of year. Both journeys carry profound spiritual meaning. Both also involve layers of planning, from visas and flights to hotel stays near the holy sites, that can overwhelm even seasoned travelers.

Luxury Bookings plans to pair hotel tours with Hajj and Umrah packages tailored to Muslim clients, a community Abdul Rashid describes as a significant market segment in Texas. The company sees that segment as underserved, and Abdul Rashid believes his Middle East roots position Luxury Bookings to serve it with genuine understanding.

Many pilgrims make the journey with spouses, children or aging parents, and the small details carry enormous weight. A hotel's distance from the holy sites, the timing of ground transportation and clear guidance before departure can shape the entire experience. Abdul Rashid's personalized model was built around exactly those details.

"We take the time to understand each client's individual needs and preferences so we can provide a seamless and high-quality experience from the first interaction through to the completion of their booking," Abdul Rashid said.

For instance, a family in Houston or Dallas preparing to perform Umrah would work with a team rooted in the Middle East travel industry and reachable by WhatsApp at any hour. That kind of steady, human support is what the company hopes will set its pilgrimage packages apart.

Local Partnerships With U.S. Hotels and Suppliers Form the Backbone of the Expansion

Abdul Rashid built Luxury Bookings on contracts and relationships, and the U.S. plan follows the same playbook. The company intends to establish strong partnerships and contracts with local hotels and suppliers, with the goal of securing the best possible deals on behalf of clients, travel agencies and corporate partners.

Abdul Rashid treats those relationships as long-term commitments rather than one-time transactions.

"With our partners, we build long-term relationships based on transparency, reliability and mutual value," Abdul Rashid said. "We communicate clearly, respond quickly and make sure expectations are aligned on both sides. We also regularly follow up with clients and partners to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve our service."

That partner-first thinking already shows up in the company's B2B hotel booking system. Travel agencies and corporate clients can register at no cost and gain full access to the platform, which automates booking processes, offers special discounts and delivers instant confirmations around the clock. Smaller agencies in particular save time and cut down on manual work. Technology keeps the experience consistent behind the scenes. The company uses Hostify's customer relationship management and property management systems to automate guest communication from booking through departure, sending each guest details on hotel policies, check-in and check-out times and other essentials.

"Ultimately, our approach is to go beyond simply completing a booking," Abdul Rashid said. "We aim to build lasting relationships by being responsive, dependable and genuinely focused on delivering an exceptional luxury experience."

A Two-Way Bridge Between the Middle East and the United States Points Toward a Bigger Future

Abdul Rashid's network runs in both directions, and the expansion is designed to use every lane.

A Texas family planning a pilgrimage can lean on the company's Middle East travel relationships, while a traveler from Dubai heading to the United States can count on the same personalized service upon arrival.

Abdul Rashid's long-term vision positions Luxury Bookings as a trusted name in exceptional luxury experiences across the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom and beyond.

"At Luxury Bookings, we believe sustainability is becoming an increasingly important part of the luxury travel experience," Abdul Rashid said. "Where possible, we aim to highlight experiences that support local communities, promote responsible tourism and encourage clients to make more conscious choices when planning their trips. Our goal is to show that luxury and sustainability can complement each other, providing exceptional experiences while being mindful of their wider environmental and social impact."
