Starting in innovation center SILICON VALLEY – Palo Alto, to be exact – THE EPIPHANY HOTEL welcomes guests with all the trappings of an upscale, design-centric, urban retreat. The destination that caters to the start-up zeitgeist will kick-off the trip with a gifted set of Master & Dynamic x The Epiphany Headphones and an exclusive walking guide to Palo Alto before setting off on foot or via loaner bike. Following a private consultation with Chef Patrick Kelly of the hotel's signature restaurant, Lure + Till, a Private Dinner featuring a Wine-Paired Tasting Menu will be served En-Suite, in the comfort of the Luxury Suite with Private Patio that will serve as the evening's accommodations.

The next morning, following Breakfast served en-suite or at Lure + Till, guests will be acquainted with their exclusive, luxury hybrid vehicle – the BMW i8, which is the first sports car with the consumption and emission values of a compact car. Travelers set off for the coast in the i8 with a bag of Locally-Sourced Road Snacks and an Exclusive Road Trip Map in tow. Along with the custom map (in print and with Smart Phone accessibility), comes a series of Suggested Stops Along The Way – from must-see landmarks to lesser known “hidden gems.”

Ultimately, the first day's route will lead to the idyllic CARMEL VALLEY RANCH for the exploration of a second valley. A respite from the city, the sprawling luxury resort features lush surroundings, miles of hiking trails, an organic garden, vineyards, pools, golf and spa. After settling into a Vineyard Oak Studio Suite and indulging in the Artisan's Welcome Amenity featuring products produced on property (from wine to honey to lavender bubble bath), a Private Tour of the Organic Garden, Salt House and Vineyards will follow. Armed with a custom-made Salt & Fresh Herb Scrub, guests will unwind at Spa Aiyana with a 90-minute Customized Spa Treatment. Fully relaxed, the couple will settle in for an Interactive “Dine Like a Chef” Experience curated by Chef Tim Wood and his team, featuring a Seasonal Menu and Locally-Sourced Wines to pair.

Breakfast at Valley Kitchen will provide sustenance for another day's drive. Next, a Concierge Consultation discussing wine preferences and the day's schedule will result in a Winery Map and Tasting Passes for some Wine Tasting before heading back up North. Guests will grab their Picnic Treats before reuniting with their BMW i8 for a Different Route back to San Francisco, where the road trip can commence at a choice of The Epiphany, San Francisco Airport, or San Jose Airport.
