EXCLUSIVE PAINTING LESSON IN THE GROUNDS OF BELMOND VILLA SAN MICHELE

A 15th-century national monument with a façade attributed to Michelangelo, Belmond Villa San Michele in Florence, Italy is a work of art in itself – and now creative guests can hone their artistic skills during an exclusive two-hour painting lesson in the hotel’s stunning gardens.

Guided by local Florentine artist Roberto Guarnieri, guests will create their very own watercolor postcards, a perfect memento of their stay in Italy’s city of art. Budding painters will learn how to prepare a color tablette and make an initial pencil sketch of their chosen scene – perhaps an architectural detail of the monastery or the hotel’s incomparable view of Florence. Then they will take up a brush and complete their masterpiece in watercolour. Lessons are available for groups of two to seven people.
