Luxury Hotels Offering Glamping Suites Across the U.S.
Debuting this December in the Coachella Valley, Hotel Paseo is the first new luxury hotel built in Palm Desert in over 30 years, and is located just steps away from upscale shopping and entertainment on El Paseo (known as the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert”). For guests that want unique accommodations, the property features a beautifully renovated and fully furnished, 25-foot vintage 1950 Airstream trailer by recognized restorer David Winick, who also designed Airstream’s 75th anniversary’s prototype in 2007 and has renovated trailers for celebrities like Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Patrick Dempsey. David found this particular trailer deteriorating in the desert outside of Palm Springs, so it was only fitting that it was sent back to its original home after being refurbished. The trailer suite now features new aluminum walls, stainless steel appliances, an 8-foot reclaimed black walnut bar, and black walnut cabinetry with vintage hardware. It can sleep four and includes a rear bedroom and dinette that converts to a large queen bed. While staying in the Airstream, guests are steps away from many fun amenities located on the outdoor lawn like a pool and spa, three private cabanas, poolside cabana bar, outdoor stage for live musical performances, plus interactive activities like a Bocce Ball Court, Cornhole toss, and Shuffle Board.
