Hotel Ivy is the only luxury property in Minneapolis and one of two Forbes-rated properties within the state. Hotel Ivy is worthy of visiting in its own right. Suitably, it blends old and new — the property’s famous tower was completed in 1930 (as part of an unfinished church), but remained in disrepair until its transformation into a hotel 2008. The Curator team has reimagined the hotel’s luxury leisure offerings, and has launched the following new experiences this year:

  • Limitless Luxury: Guests who book this program receive exclusive access to the Hotel Ivy’s Curator program (and rockstar Lead Curator, Galie), for a weekend of surprise and delights. Guests will work with Galie in advance, and she’ll curate a completely customized weekend itinerary for the couple or group, with the guests having no insight into what is coming next. Depending on the conversation between Galie and the guest, where she’ll learn their interests,  the itinerary can be a mix of wellness activities, spa treatments, VIP dining experiences at the city’s top restaurants, to over-the-top experiences such as a helicopter tour of Minneapolis at night, a backstage meet-and-greet at the symphony, a private yacht experience on a lake, and more. There is no limit to what Galie can do, and this offering will show guests there is no limit to luxury at Hotel Ivy.
  • Love in the Ivy Tower: A weekend of love is abound at Hotel Ivy with the ultimate romantic getaway, showcasing the best of Minneapolis with curated luxurious offerings. The first night, guests will be treated to a private helicopter ride above the Twin Cities, complete with champagne and caviar. The second day, guests will have access to a Tesla and a private guide for a city tour, with an itinerary of behind-the scenes tours of city highlights, such as Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, and Guthrie Theater. On the final day, the couple will wake up to a personalized picnic basket and an invitation into the kitchen with a chef from Monello who will talk through seasonal ingredients, local goods, and help create a perfect picnic basket to be enjoyed on a private sail along one of Minneapolis’ many lakes (weather dependent).
  • Backstage Minneapolis with Hotel Ivy: Music and art are a big part oft Minneapolis’ culture, and many travel form all over to experience the city’s finest first-hand. From the Minneapolis Orchestra, to the Pantages Theater, to the Orpheum and beyond, there city touts itself as one of the leading theatrical cities in the country. Hotel Ivy will tailor an exclusive backstage experience throughout Minneapolis, customized to each guests interest in theater, music, museums, and of course providing secret insider hots spots and under-the-radar locations throughout the cities. Some example experiences include:
    • Party like its 1999: The Hotel Ivy has created a super personalized, luxury experience to give guests insight into the famous singer, and the greater musical scene that currently exists in the Twin Cities. This experience includes a use of a Tesla for the weekend and a private Prince guide who can take guests on a tour of Prince’s Minneapolis, including a private tour of Paisley, park, a stop at Glam Slam, First Avenue and 7th Street Entry, and a show at the famous Dakota Jazz club. The hotel also adds personalized amenities and touches along the way (think chef-curated personalized picnics, a record player in-room with a catalogue of Prince vinyl, “Purple Rain”spa treatment, utilizing the Ivy Spa vichy room, and more).
    • Symphony Secrets: Hotel Ivy’s proximity to the Minneapolis Orchestra allows for a perfectly curated offering, customizing a night of music and opulence. Hotel Ivy will set guests up for a personal shopper to find the perfect gown and/or tuxedo in an afternoon shopping experience. Hair/makeup is then provided by a local luxury salon nearby. The evening will begin with a bottle of champagne and in-room private tasting dinner  curated by Hotel Ivy’s culinary team. A member of the Curator team will then personally escort the guests to the Orchestra, where they will connect them directly with the conductor for a pre-show meet-and-greet. A private box and champagne cocktails round-out the experience.
