Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel Unveils Two New Fall Packages

Known as America’s Summer Place since it opened in 1887, Grand Hotel is an essential family destination from May to October. The seasonal resort beckons guests to a bygone era of old-world hospitality and charm, and this National Historic Landmark has always embraced its rich history, while keeping up with current times. That means today, guests can enjoy modern amenities while the hotel’s original architecture and charm have been tastefully preserved. This is also shown through the resort’s incredible offerings, which now adds two new additions to the roster, as the iconic property rolls out new packages curated for families this Fall season.

While many students are continuing with virtual learning this Fall, Grand Hotel has a solution for families looking for a change of scenery. Beginning September 8th, and running from Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. meeting space will be set up for students to study and continue their virtual classes from the hotel, with the Grand Back to School Package. Take advantage of a socially distanced space with Wi-Fi accessibility, discounted golf and ferry boat tickets for kids, free admission to the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum and boxed lunches will also be available for purchase. When the school day is done, families can dine and play together surrounded by the beauty of Mackinac Island. A full breakfast and dinner are included in the stay as well, and children 17 and under stay free, plus the hotel offers special rates for families staying multiple nights. Full package details and pricing can be found here.

The luxury property has also announced a new Halloween Weekend Package for those who are continuing to hit the road this Fall and are looking to get in the seasonal spirit. The ghoulish excitement will begin Friday evening, where guests will enjoy a spooky film in the hotel’s theatre, followed by dinner in the Main Dining Room. Both Friday and Saturday evenings, guests can make their way through the property’s Haunted Trail, and then on Saturday, all are welcome to partake in a Tarot Card reading at the hotel.
