Malbec Adventures Launches in Malibu for Adventure-minded Travelers

All guests feel welcome and comfortable with the gracious hosts and co-owners, Randi Goodman and George Ricciardi. They provide a retreat at their mid- century ranch house, which features luxurious amenities with a home-like feel. The house is nestled in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains and has many areas to relax after a long adventure.

Randi Goodman, Co-Owner, states: “Malbec Adventures is our opportunity to share what we love: our home, good food, good wine, hospitality, and the beauty of the Malibu coastline and the Santa Monica Mountains. We have been fortunate enough to go on some great adventures here in our very own backyard and now we look forward to giving others the chance to experience the breathtaking trails, climbs and scenery….I have been working in the Social Services field for over 30 years but working in the hospitality industry seemed like a natural fit for me. Starting a camp has been a lifelong dream.”

Co-owner George Ricciardi, a world class soccer player and professional athlete of Argentinian/Italian descent adds: “We uncorked a bottle of Malbec one night with our cycling friends and began an impromptu brainstorming session. Malbec Adventures quickly became a reality…coming from the passion we feel for the outdoors, sports, and connecting with others.”

George is passionate about cycling, the outdoors and living a healthy lifestyle. He is a natural at welcoming guests and making them feel at home.

The Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean continue to attract both domestic and international travelers. Both Randi and George have experience exploring the trails in the area and can customize hikes for an unforgettable adventure for you or your group. One of the hikes is the well-known Malibu Creek State Park, which served as the setting for M*A*S*H, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and the Planet of the Apes.

MALBEC ADVENTURES: Reservations are being taken starting in May for 7 day/6 night tours with other set dates throughout the year. Malbec Adventures can also book reservations for shorter tours and quick getaways. The days are spent going on morning tours, exploring the sights, and relaxing at the Malbec Ranch.
