Huvafen Fushi Maldives Debuts Traditional Sailing Vessels
Guests staying in one of Huvafen Fushi's ocean or beach-front bungalows now have the option to reserve their own 24-hour service Dhoni. The cost is an additional $1,821 per night in addition to the room rate and can be booked for one or all of the nights during the stay.

Each 65-foot Dhoni is serviced by a dedicated crew and private chef who are ready to set sail, cook a meal or turn down your bed at a moment's notice. The additional fee includes full board on the Dhoni, making it easy for guests to enjoy grilled seafood on a deserted island or a cocktail cruise under the stars.

The Dhonis are modeled after traditional Maldivian sailing boats. The interiors are designed to match the Huvafen Fushi resort proper. The handcrafted vessels are equipped with luxury trimmings but presented in a distinctly Maldivian format. Each Dhoni features a bedroom with king-sized bed and Frette linen, Bose surround sound, i-Pod, DVD player and LCD screen; a fully equipped kitchen with a well-stocked Smeg fridge; and a spacious Philippe Starck-designed bathroom and living area. Located in the North Malé Atoll, Huvafen Fushi Maldives is a pristine island resort offering 43 naturally modern bungalows and home to the world's first underwater spa treatment rooms.
