Malliouhana Unveils All New Amenities, Suites and Experiences in Anguilla

Things are heating up on Anguilla and on November 1, 2019, the island’s glamorous beachside hideaway, Malliouhana, Auberge Resorts Collection, will welcome the winter season with a host of new amenities and programming as part of its multi-million dollar enhancements. Overlooking the sugar-white sands of Meads Bay and Turtle Cove, the luxury paradise beloved by the international jet set is once again raising the bar with chic new suites, experiences that allow guests to discover hidden Anguilla and indulge in the island’s most inventive and authentic cuisine. Sun-seekers ready to experience the new Malliouhana can book rates beginning at $795/night.

Guests will be greeted with warm Anguillan hospitality in a setting rich in character, with highlights for the 2019/2020 season including:

  • New accommodations, increasing the resort’s total room count to 63 from 46. A new two-bedroom beachfront suite on Turtle Cove, which will surely be the most requested accommodation, beckons with a lushly landscaped portico, welcoming garden patio, private plunge pool and bathroom with free standing tub. Above the new spa are three new suites with stunning views. The suites join eight new oceanfront rooms and four garden view rooms, all of which are designed in the resorts signature shades of mint, mango and white, with pops of saffron and vibrant Haitian artwork.
  • Leon’s @ Meads Bay, a “toes in the sand” beach shack experience located directly on Mead’s Bay Beach featuring classic Caribbean fare, specialty rum punch, homemade ice cream, “rum”sicles, beach games and more.
  • The Spa at Malliouhana debuts six new treatment rooms and a brand-new pool overlooking the crystal-clear waters of Meads Bay. Taking inspiration from the Caribbean’s diversity of nature, the signature Tropical Euphoria treatment will whisk you away on a two-hour journey that includes creating a custom scrub at the mixology bar, a foot ritual followed by a coconut milk bath and massage.
  • New Auberge Adventures invite guests to seek out and explore Anguilla’s hidden treasures. The resort’s new Beach-fari experience includes a day-long tour of seven of Anguilla’s most famous beaches complete with your very own beach concierge, BBQ lunch, and sunset drinks and bites as you take in one of Anguilla’s famous sunsets.
  • Turtle Cove is the unique setting for Beach Ceviche Classes where guests will learn how to transform fresh-caught local seafood, including conch, crayfish and sea urchin, into vibrant ceviches infused with Anguilla’s Pyrat rum. The ceviche is paired alongside the unusual, but delectable, crispy curried goat jerky – a staple in Caribbean cuisine. After feasting on the fruits of their labor with a delectable picnic spread right on the beach, guests can watch the sun dip down over Meads Bay.
  • Reimagined culinary concepts catering to guests seeking sophisticated flavors in stunning settings on the Caribbean’s biggest “foodie” island. Celeste, Malliouhana’s signature restaurant, will feature a brand-new bar set in the heart of the restaurant and a menu offering Mediterranean-inspired fare with local ingredients like Anguilla’s signature Crayfish. Bar Soleil, once the famous Sunset Bar long known as Anguilla’s best spot to watch the sunset, is easily the most coveted spot in the hotel where guests can post up at the island’s most scenic vantage point while they enjoy Caribbean and Middle Eastern-influenced fare and special events such as Island Tacos @ Sunset and Whisky Wednesdays.
  • An all-new meeting and gathering spacejust off the lobby will be able to host intimate gatherings and C-Suite retreats for up to 60 people, with stunning views of the ocean.
