It also features a dipping pool and delights visitors with a wide range of drinks and cocktails, as well as an extensive menu featuring innovative Nikkei cuisine, which can be relished all day while overlooking sights such as Gaudi’s La Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló.

Using traditional recipes from Lima and Tokyo, guests can enjoy tempting dishes such as white fish ceviche with lime and coriander, tiradito of bream with miso, lime and mustard and an extensive sushi menu with a wide variety of maki, nigiris, temakis and tekka makis.

Open all day until midnight, this is a magical spot in which to relax and discover the city’s skyline.

One of the most popular venues on Barcelona’s famed Passeig de Gràcia, the hotel’s Mimosa Garden opens once again for the summer, and offers al fresco breakfast and new fresh Mediterranean dishes to delight guests until 8pm daily. A genuine oasis in the centre of town, this lush terrace owes its charm to a combination of sun, nature and privacy in equal measure: a real garden located in a traditional inner courtyard in Barcelona’s Eixample district. This refuge has a very special atmosphere and features the work of renowned landscape architect, the late Bet Figueras who also co-designed the Botanical Gardens of Barcelona. She gave the Mimosa Garden its special shade of green through the use of native trees and shrubs such as oleanders, holm oaks, olive trees, cypresses and lavender and above all the beautiful Mimosa trees, which were all chosen to complement the architecture.

The furniture from Gioline B&B Italia designed by Spanish-born Patricia Urquiola, who also designed the award-winning interiors of Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, add a bright touch to this green retreat in the centre of the city. The Mimosa Garden is open from 9am to 8pm daily.
