Mantis Launches Mantis eXtreme Collection of Worldwide Adventure Experiences
The exclusive portfolio includes once-in-a-lifetime trips all around the world, including diving in the Galapagos, exploring the White Desert of Antarctica, shark cage diving in South Africa, storm chasing in America, the Bear Grylls Survival Academy and much more.

Paul Gardiner, Global Marketing Director for Mantis, said “As a business we endeavor to listen to our clients, who have traveled the world for both business and pleasure and increasingly are looking for new experiences, hence leading us to establish Mantis eXtreme. From diving the deadly sardine bait ball off the coast of Southern Africa; to fly-camping in the wilderness at Lugenda Wilderness Camp, these adventures have no boundaries.”

The Mantis eXtreme portfolio has everything from White Water Rafting the Zambezi River to Polar Bear expeditions in the high Arctic. Less physically demanding offers include: seeing the famed Northern Lights in Swedish Lapland, Midnight Golf in Bjorkliden, husky sledding, near space flights, and much more. The portfolio spans the globe with experiences and programs touching the far reaches of every continent.

Some of the highlights of the new collection are walking safaris, fly-camping and canoeing at Lugenda Wilderness Camp. The intimate camp, comprised of just eight luxury tents, is set in the Niassa Reserve, Mozombique's largest conservation area. The Reserve covers more than 16,000 square miles and is home to the largest concentration of wildlife in the country including wild dog. Guests at Lugenda have the chance to experience a raw Africa, remarkably close to nature, and close to local communities. There are also plans to open the renowned Bear Grylls Survival Academy in this remote area in 2014.
