Meet the Woman Designing the World’s Most Exclusive Private Jets

Private jet interiors have quietly become the last truly private luxury environment- more controlled than homes, more discreet than hotels, and increasingly the only space the ultra-wealthy fully own.

Aurora Saboir is an award-winning private jet interior and industrial designer and founder of Aurora Aero Design. She is one of the few female engineer-designers globally trusted with elite, highly confidential aviation commissions across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, with direct insight into how luxury, power, and privacy are evolving at altitude.

Aurora designs with precision, craftsmanship, and emotional intelligence rather than flash. Her projects span Gulfstream G700s, VVIP Boeing Business Jets, helicopters, and large-scale refurbishments, often involving nine-figure assets and multi-year timelines. Because she works on only a handful of commissions at a time, she has a clear, real-time understanding of what elite buyers are asking for now- and what they’re moving away from.

For select projects, Aurora works directly with heritage luxury houses to outfit and custom-produce interior elements for the aircraft themselves, collaborating with brands such as Badollet (Swiss haute horlogerie), Döttling (bespoke luxury safes), Pinetti, and Loro Piana on fully custom cabin interiors.

In 2025, Aurora briefly stepped into the public eye with the exterior design of the Creative 100 Boeing 777-300ER, developed with Swizz Beatz as part of the Qatar Airways Creative 100 initiative and unveiled during Formula 1 weekend earlier this month, offering a rare glimpse into a world typically defined by discretion, where aviation, culture, and design intersect at scale.

Aurora represents a new model of authority: technically rigorous, discreet, and deeply trusted in one of the most closed luxury sectors, where credibility and confidentiality matter more than visibility.

Together, these shifts reflect how modern luxury is evolving, away from spectacle and toward privacy, performance, and emotional intelligence and wellness.
