Meraki Greek Bistro Opens in Downtown Miami

Meraki Greek Bistro Opens in Downtown Miami
What does “Meraki” mean?

A term that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, and love. Whatever it may be, it encompasses putting ‘something of yourself’ into what you're doing - which is exactly what owners Alex Karavias and executive chef Giannis Kotsos did when conceptualizing the designs, recipes and overall experience.

Whether you prefer to dine outdoors within their “taverna style” patio that features Greek Island inspired white washed walls, blue and white pillows, and large rustic tables, or be indoors with their array of Hellenic artwork and cleverly crafted hanging basket lights, Meraki Greek Bistro welcomes you to dive into their daily and nightly specials, as well as their fantastic array of traditional appetizers, house-made gyros, souvlakia, lamb chops and charred octopus.

Rounding out your ultimate Hellenic tasting experience, the restaurant proudly offers a wide selection of Greek rich wines and unique beers from the award-winning Nico Lazaridi King of Hearts and the centuries old Santorini by Boutari.

Both Karavias and Chef Kotsos (who previously owned and operated restaurants in Greece for over 20 years) pride themselves in keeping true to their Mediterranean roots and bringing guests a one-of-a-kind experience that you can enjoy with friends and family.
