ART

The crown jewel of Miami Art Week, Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center, hosts the most prestigious galleries from around the world, showcasing the world’s best art, from Picasso to Rembrandt, as well as high profile emerging artists. Design Miami showcases collectible design–from unique furniture pieces, to lighting and sculptures–this is a great spot to stop for home inspiration. For more accessible art, Untitled Art and SCOPE have beachfront pavilions perfect for discovering new artists. Red Dot & Spectrum in Wynwood are also great options to shop for art. The Great Elephant Migration is a free public art exhibit on the beach between 36th and 37th streets showcasing a herd of elephants, a great message and photo opp. It’s located right in front of our fabulous oceanfront penthouse listing at The Caribbean, designed by Ximena Caminos, the renowned cultural entrepreneur, Founder of The Reefline, and creative curator behind Faena.

DINING

Faena Hotel Miami Beach is an experience in itself–from the immersive art on display throughout the hotel and on the beach, to the many dining options and buzzy social scene–it’s one of the best places to people watch. Their Faena Rose membership hosts some of the most interesting art-related events. Casa Tua is an iconic Miami favorite tucked away in a historic Mediterranean villa, with a chic ambiance and delicious Italian food–the cacio e pepe is phenomenal. The restaurant and upstairs private members club display curated artwork, and the club hosts one of the best (members only) parties during Art Week. They are also open for lunch. Mother Wolf is one of the newest hot spots in the Design District, the restaurant is beautiful with great pastas and pizzas. Soho House hosts art lectures and one of the most in-demand parties in a tent on the sand.

FASHION

Fashion brands also host galleries, events and store openings, most in the Design District, including the LVMH Culture House pop-up art gallery with immersive exhibits and art talks, a Cartier immersive pop-up to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its Trinity collection, and Gucci is unveiling a public snow globe installation and new murals. Pucci is hosting a private VIP event at the Botanical Garden Miami Beach.

As you explore the city’s creative side, take some time to discover the area’s stunning luxury real estate, both in established and emerging neighborhoods like Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Bal Harbour and Bay Harbor. From historic and architecturally significant estates to pristine oceanfront condos, the area offers homes and a lifestyle that are as inspiring as the art itself.
