Mirror Lake Inn Receives AAA Four Diamond Award for 27th Consecutive Year
The Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa is the longest running AAA Four Diamond hotel outside of New York City. The Inn's restaurant, The View, also celebrates its fourth consecutive year of the AAA Four-Diamond rating. It is one of only ten AAA Four Diamond restaurants outside of New York City. Four Diamond restaurants account for just 2.8 percent of the 27,000 AAA rated restaurants.

Restaurants and lodging establishments must undergo a thorough inspection to be considered for AAA rating and approval. The lodging evaluation assesses everything from the range of facilities, amenities and services offered by the property as well as stringent quality requirements. Judging for restaurants represents a combination of the overall food, service, décor, and ambiance offered by the establishment.

This approval provides travelers a trusted, independent rating used when selecting accommodations and restaurants. As cited from a recent study conducted by InsightExpress, “AAA Diamond ratings are the third attribute travelers consider when selecting vacation accommodations. Price was the leading attribute, with 85 percent of travelers citing its importance, followed by the presence of a pool (52%) and AAA ratings (49%).”
