andBeyond’s WILDChild program is filled with age specific fun and interactive activities that offer plenty of opportunity to learn and discover new experiences and cultures, while parents can steal time for African spa treatments or cocktails. The WILDChild activities range from fishing and animal tracking to learning the craft of African beading or how to make a bow and arrow with a Maasai warrior. A private guide will expose youngsters to conservation and principles or guiding or they may help plant vegetable and fruit trees in the kitchen garden and learn to cook with the chef. KENYA

Families staying at andBeyond Kichwa Tembo in Kenya between July and October will be able to see one of nature’s greatest spectacles on earth – the annual great migration. andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Under Canvas, one of the most luxurious lodges located in the remote Western Corridor of the Serengeti, provides a private Serengeti experience with exclusive game viewing in some of the most secluded parts of Africa’s most famous game reserve. Following a major renovation in 2015 it added a brand new family suite. Intimate and with a homely feel this small camp comprises just ten guest tents and the new family suite and is the perfect lodge from which to spot exceptional year-round resident wildlife. The family-friendly suite can accommodate up to two adults and three children in two adjoining safari tents connected with a covered walkway. Separate entrances maintain privacy, while the walkway provides safe and convenient access between tents.

MOZAMBIQUE

For some pre-or post-safari R&R, an African beach holiday or family celebration, Mozambican retreat andBeyond Benguerra Island is the perfect base for families with guests of all ages. The Casa de Familia caters up to four adults and four children with plenty of space both inside and out. The master bedroom is flanked by two interconnecting bedrooms and each guestroom has its own bathroom.
