The Napa Valley Wine Train will host Lorenzo Trefethen of Trefethen Family Vineyards on Saturday, September 22 from 6:15 – 10 p.m. for a culinary and wine adventure as part of its 2018 Meet the Maker series.
While enjoying a multi-course gourmet feast prepared by Chef Donald Young and impeccable wine pairings, passengers will also be able to discuss the pairings and tasting notes in depth with Lorenzo Trefethen while relaxing in the luxury setting of the Private Reserve railcar. Lorenzo will explain the passion and creativity behind the historic Trefethen Family Vineyards.
Check-in for the Trefethen Family Vineyards Meet the Maker event begins at 6:15 p.m. followed by a welcome reception at 6:45 p.m., a departure of 7 p.m. and arrival back to the train station at 10 p.m. Tickets start at $272 per person, and the experience is also available for groups and private events.
