The Marly, Beachfront Boutique Hotel Opens in Cape Town
Hollywood glamour in the heart of Camps Bay

Backed by the majestic Twelve Apostles mountain range and overlooking one of the world's most beautiful beaches, the 11-bedroom The Marly, part of the Kove Collection, offers the quintessential Cape Town experience – a stylish, fun and dynamic destination for sun-seekers and anyone who enjoys fantastic scenery, a jet-set nightlife and excellent seafood.

Located on the famous palm-fringed Camps Bay promenade, The Marly is surrounded by sunset-facing sidewalk restaurants, cafes and bars. Guests can soak up the vibe at street level or from their very own balcony, sipping cocktails whilst taking in the buzzing scenes below.

Accommodation

With interiors by South African firm Soda Creations, the Marly is a modern, five-star showpiece. Elegant beach chic reigns in Luxury Suites and Deluxe Suites with gorgeous, contemporary fittings and specially commissioned art pieces throughout. An all-white colour palette broken up with shots of silver keeps the look clean and cool. Attention to detail is evident in touches such as the indulgent Charlotte Rhys amenities, and the pod coffee maker in every room.

Designed to take advantage of the abundant sunshine and the gorgeous views, the ocean-facing guest rooms have their own private deck and some of them a Jacuzzi and outdoor rain shower; 24-hour room service and bath-butler service are also available. Among the hotel facilities are also a private, pool-terrace bar, decorated with sofas and ocean-reflecting mirrors. The library off the reception area has an extensive collection of books and movies to make your stay that extra special.

Dining

Attached to The Marly are three restaurants, which also form part of the Kove Collection. UMI, a modern Japanese restaurant with seating capacity for 200 guests, serves fabulous Asian dishes in a glamorous, clubby atmosphere and will satisfy diners looking for tasty, healthy, eating options. A high-tech conference venue accommodates top executives and their teams, with a private area inside Umi able to accommodate 40 conference delegates in cinema-style seating.

Other dining options include Zenzero Restaurant and Paranga Restaurant serving delicious Italian fare and fresh seafood to diners admiring the stunning Atlantic views. Also the new la Belle Bistro & Bakery is open all day for delicious light meals in a casual coffee-house atmosphere.

Attractions

The Marly offers travellers a magnificent central location in which to relax, with easy access to Cape Town's most beautiful attractions. Guests can take a stroll along Camps Bay beach or explore the shops and a variety of cafes and restaurants in the Promenade Mall. Table Mountain is only a seven-minute drive from The Marly, and Hout Bay or the famous Chapman's Peak Drive can be reached within 20 minutes by car.
