New Sky Terrace at Madeline Hotel and Residences, Telluride

New Sky Terrace at Madeline Hotel and Residences, Telluride
This year-round outdoor pool deck is arrayed for relaxation, socializing and events amid the spectacular scenery of the Southern Rockies that frame the hotel.

Reserved exclusively for Residence Owners and guests of Madeline Hotel and Residences, the Sky Terrace rests atop the new Grand Porte Cochere entrance and is surrounded by the snowy peaks of the San Juan Mountain range.

The Sky Terrace features a 24'-by-50' swimming pool and a 4,000-square-foot deck that is bathed in sunlight by day and lighting at night. Comfortable furnishings are found throughout the deck including poolside lounges, tables and chairs, as well as evergreen plantings. The deck includes two hot tubs and three fire pits, as well as a bar that will serve a menu of small bites, house wines, beer, and original cocktails. The pool and deck are both heated year-round, creating an inviting space for casual gatherings, après-ski cocktails, and events such as weddings, receptions, and more.

The Sky Terrace is the main element of the final phase of ongoing enhancements throughout Madeline Hotel and Residences. Other aspects of the renovation include the addition of M Studio, offering yoga and Pilates, as well as M Salon, a full service hair and nail salon featuring Bobbi Brown trained estheticians. The renovation also added the new 3,000-square foot M Club, featuring indoor/outdoor bar and dining, and a game room with a pool table and shuffleboard, as well as Black Iron Kitchen & Bar, which offers modern mountain cuisine, live music, and signature fire tables. After a day on the slopes, kids can enjoy the hotel's new hang out, 20 Below, with a movie lounge, electronic gaming consoles, an art wall and Apple computers, or head over to the onsite Dylan's Candy Bar.

Conveniently located in Mountain Village within ski-in/ski-out proximity of Telluride Ski Resort, Madeline Hotel and Residences can arrange discounted lift tickets, as well as discounted ski equipment for Residence owners and guests in advance of arrival. The hotel can also arrange heli-skiing, and half-day/full-day cross-country skiing and snowshoeing tours with lunch and equipment provided. Other winter activities include sledding on Firecracker Hill, snowmobiling on groomed trails, dogsledding - great for couples, families and friends - horseback riding and sleigh rides in the snow, winter fly-fishing, fat-tire biking with a stop at Telluride Brewing Company, and ice-skating on the hotel's own rink in Mountain Village.
