This New Year’s Eve, The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay celebrates the New Year in collaboration with Krug Champagne, one of the world's most prestigious Champagne houses founded in 1843 in Reims, France.
Already dazzling in festive seasonal décor, the Forbes Five-Star resort has created an exclusive Krug New Year's Eve Champagne Lounge, featuring stunning decor by local florist, Flowers by Edgar, and swanky lounge seating, alongside a roaring fireplace. Visitors will sip amidst coastal opulence, with the class and culture of a guided tasting by the resort’s new resident Sommelier. The evening also includes live music by a Bay Area violinist, a champagne sabering demonstration, and more, for a sophisticated yet warm celebration to ring in the New Year. During the event, guests can toast to 2024 with a live stream of the Times Square Ball Drop, bringing the iconic cityscape to the comfort of the cozy indoors.
Throughout the evening, visitors will enjoy a private selection of Krug Champagne alongside an exclusive Kaluga caviar experience. Guests will have the option to select either the Krug Grande Cuvee Brut Half-Bottle (375ML) experience, which includes a two-ounce caviar tasting for $585 for up to two guests, or the Krug Grande Cuvee Brut Bottle (750ML) experience, which includes a two-ounce caviar tasting for $785 for up to four guests. For one night only, guests will also have the rare and exclusive opportunity to purchase Krug by the glass for $150 per pour. Please note guests who purchase the half bottle or full bottle experience will have guaranteed Champagne Lounge access. Guests who opt for the “by the glass” offering will have Champagne Lounge access on a first come, first serve basis. The “by the glass” offering does not include the caviar tasting or takeaway gift bag; each patron must purchase their own glass to enter the Champagne Lounge.
