New York Luxury Hotel The Plaza Launches Signature Tower Suite

The Plaza has unveiled the signature Tower Suite for young knights in training. With the introduction of this new and distinct Plaza experience, Eloise will have new friends at The Plaza – including a Family Ambassador, who will be dedicated to curating custom experiences for families staying at the hotel.

The Plaza henceforth bequeaths thine noblest sons “Knights of The Plaza.” Young boys who have demonstrated bravery and prowess on the battlefield are invited to spend the night in The Plaza's one of a kind Tower Suite, accepting reservations as of Friday, June 22, 2012. The suite features a round bed within a unique circle-shaped bedroom overlooking 5th Avenue. The 23-foot exposed brick cathedral ceiling exemplifies medieval architecture, giving the bedroom the authentic feeling of spending the night in a real life siege tower. The living room features The Plaza's very own coat of arms, as well as medieval art that bring the time period to life.

The life of a young knight is not an easy one – bound to defend his lord and liege and hold himself to the highest standards of combat, knowledge in writing and leadership. Families who want to treat their young royals to a night of medieval make-believe, history and fun, look no further than The Plaza's Tower Suite. Young guests staying in the suite will be given The Plaza's royal treatment, including hotel-wide recognition that his lordship or her ladyship is present. Their authority will be validated by a pin worn to indicate that the hotel is now under the medieval hero's protection. In addition, children will receive an eight inch metallic painted chocolate knight upon arrival, medieval-themed DVDs and books, and a closet full of knight dress-up outfits and toys from FAO Schwarz to complete the experience.

To remain under the guardianship of the brave knight, guests also have the option to book an adjoining Edwardian 5th Avenue suite and Deluxe King Room, converting the room to a three-bedroom suite, for a vacation the whole family will find memorable.
