New Zealand's Otahuna Lodge Offers Heli-Activities
From whale watching in Kaikoura to a Heli-Golf at Terrace Downs, guests will board their helicopter at Otahuna and taken to some of New Zealand's most scenic spots. The 1.5-hour High Country "Narnia Adventure" visits the places made famous in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Flying over the Canterbury Plains toward the remote Southern Alps, the helicopter lands at Flock Hill Station, one of the movie's major filming locations. Here, guests will see The Witches Mound, Chariot's Run, Aslan's Rock and The Battlefield and experience the scenery that provided a backdrop for the movie scene known as "The Flight of the Phoenix".

The six different options run from 1.5 to 6 hours and touch on such niche activities as whale watching, golf, wine and more.
