Guided by the belief that presence matters, Up Norway handles all travel logistics so that travelers can be fully present, mentally and physically, to experience things on a deeper and more meaningful level. Premium fjord-view hotels at the end of each day are confirmed, from a beautifully restored art nouveau warehouse that offers the perfect maritime atmosphere to begin and reflect on one’s journey to two unique fjord bases. The first, tucked between wild rivers and strawberry fields, and then, an intimate hideaway located right at the water's edge at the base of the majestic Sunnmøre Alps. Mornings include a premium breakfast and the preparation of a traditional Norwegian matpakke, or packed lunch, while evenings shift to recovery-focused, farm-to-table dinners featuring the region's seasonal ingredients. A dedicated support vehicle follows the group on every stage carrying luggage, spare wheels, nutritional support, artisanal ride bars, hydration mixes, and local specialties.

Itinerary Highlights:

  • Day 1-3: Welcome to Trondheim. Travelers settle into Trondheim, a city defined by rich, thousand-year Viking heritage. Up Norway will arrange for a local foraging expert to guide travelers on a quest to find some wild-growing edible goods. Following, they’ll set up a private guided sightseeing tour of the Nidelva River aboard the traditional wooden boats.
  • Day 3-6: Onwards to the Birdbox Cabin. The Golden Road is one of Norway's most charming scenic detours. As travelers drive through the beautiful countryside of Inderøy, they will enjoy  an introduction to Øyna and rural Norway through a local cheese and juice tasting, before checking into an architect-designed cabin within a working farm. Here, a farm to table dinner in a traditional stabbur awaits.
  • Day 6-10: Towards the Lofoten Islands. After traveling from Trondheim to Ballstad, a vibrant fisherman’s village, travelers will check in for four nights in a Hattvika Element cabin, which offers a genuine atmosphere and stunning views over the harbor. Here, towering green mountains plunge directly into the sea, dotted with traditional red cabins, while fisherman boats weave in and out of the harbor throughout the day. Excursions in Lofted arranged by Up Norway include a private guided hike and fishing expedition in Kyllingdalen Valley, a private surfing lesson in the Arctic Sea, lunch and storytelling in a beautiful farm landscape, a personal seaweed discovery experience, and more. Travelers will also enjoy driving across the Norwegian Scenic Route Lofoten, known for its sandy beaches, historic fishing villages and breathtaking outdoor adventures.
  • Day 10-12: Down to the Capital. Travelers will say goodbye to Lofoten and then travel to Oslo, Norway’s  capital city, where cutting-edge design, culture, and cuisine unfold against a backdrop of forests, fjords, and open water. Here, travelers explore Oslo with a walking tour, exploring the city’s past, present and future, including exclusive access to a World War II bunker, normally closed to the public. Travelers are then encouraged to wander the city and enjoy its bustling culture before a final dinner.
  • Day 12: Departure.
