NYC's Mark Hotel Sailboat Makes Inaugural Voyage Around Manhattan

The Mark Hotel’s Sailboat made its inaugural sunset voyage with a three-hour journey around New York Harbor, departing from Tribeca’s North Cove Marina, providing its guests an exclusive and unique experience for the second consecutive year. The sailboat is part of the unprecedented list of amenities the Hotel is providing its guests, including 24/7 shopping at Bergdorf Goodman,  The Mark Bikes & Pedicabs, The Mark Hot Dog Stand by Chef Jean Georges Vongerichten and The Mark Flower Cart.

On board the 70-foot sailboat, one of the last built in 1921 by celebrated Naval architect Nathanael Herreshoff,  guests enjoyed a menu of exquisite small bites and refreshments from The Mark’s Restaurant chef,  Jean-Georges Vongerichten, while taking in the sunset and breathtaking views of the New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Freedom Tower..

French designer Jacques Grange’s signature black and white stripes, synonymous with The Mark’s Upper East Side lobby, adorned the elegant accommodations on deck, taking The Mark Hotel ultimate luxury experience on the water.
