One&Only Palmilla Introduces Mobile Wi-Fi Airport Transfers

With so much of travel today focused on new technology, this innovative new service eliminates international roaming fees while providing an effortless transition from their One&Only Palmilla vehicle to the airport.

Long synonymous with the private chauffeured Hummer H2 pick-up, One&Only Palmilla's airport service and dedicated airport hosts have been providing an unprecedented level of service since opening in 2004 to ensure the time spent traveling to and from the airport is as luxurious as the resort itself.

“We want to ensure there is a seamless transition for our One&Only Palmilla guests to and from the airport,” says Edward Steiner, SVP of One&Only Resorts. “In addition to our already comprehensive menu of arrival and departure amenities which include our One&Only Air To Go menu, this new mobile Wi-Fi service enables our guests to stay connected while eliminating the risk for roaming charges that come when traveling internationally.”

The new Wi-Fi joins an already comprehensive list of amenities for Palmilla guests traveling to and from the airport. Upon arrival in Los Cabos, One&Only Palmilla guests are greeted by a dedicated airport host, there to assist with luggage and refreshments. Equipped with a fleet of luxury vehicles including 6 Hummer H2s, the resort stocks each car with an exclusive arrival/departure kit complete with: water, Evian Spray, mints, gourmet Mexican candy, chilled face towels, scented hand towels and hand sanitizers to help guests decompress from a short or long flight.

In preparation for return air travels, One&Only Palmilla offers a selection of “One&Only Air to Go” favorites for “In-Flight” enjoyment. Choices range from slow roasted pork to marinated grilled arrachera with chipotle aioli and roasted vegetables. All “One&Only Air to Go” meals come with local fresh seasonal fruits, a gourmet cookie for dessert as well as perfectly paired condiments packed in a re-usable One&Only Palmilla lunch pack. One&Only Palmilla's service continues in the airport with check-in and a dedicated security escort to direct guests to the new private VIP Airport Lounge. The new VIP Airport Lounge, located in Terminal #1, is available to guests of several resorts as well as airline club members. A similar lounge will be opened in Terminal #2 in November 2011.
