Orient-Express Hotels Ranked Among Top Resorts in the World

Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy (pictured above), took home the coveted Top Resort in Europe award, scoring an outstanding 94.75. In global rankings, the historic property also listed twenty-first in the Top Hotels Overall category. A former 11th century palace set on cliffs beside the Amalfi Coast, Hotel Caruso seems to drift on a ‘balcony' above the Mediterranean Sea. Its ancient walls and fresco-covered ceilings have been carefully preserved to make it a work of art in itself.
