Orient Express Sailing Yachts is partnering with the Festival de Cannes for its 79th edition, taking place from 12 to 23 May 2026. Orient Express Corinthian, the first sailing yacht in the Orient Express fleet, will anchor in the Bay of Cannes and will be visible from the Croisette, the iconic boulevard of Cannes, for the duration of the festival
Two names woven in the collective imagination, two French legacies carried by the power of dreams and excellence. Each year, the Festival de Cannes brings the most significant works of international cinema to the forefront, turning the Croisette into the center of the world for twelve days. Since 1883, Orient Express has embodied an artistic epic, a myth deeply rooted in cultural memory, the promise of absolute refinement and extraordinary adventure. With a new generation of trains, hotels and exceptional sailing yachts, Orient Express continues to redefine the codes of travel, shaping each experience as a celebration of time rediscovered.
Throughout the Festival, Orient Express Corinthian will anchor in the Bay of Cannes. The first sailing yacht in the Orient Express fleet, this 220-metre vessel, equipped with three masts and powered by SolidSail technology, marks the beginning of its inaugural season at sea. Born from the collaboration between Accor Group and Chantiers de l’Atlantique, its interiors were designed by architect Maxime d’Angeac, Artistic Director of Orient Express, and its sleek silhouette will be visible from the Croisette for the duration of the Festival.
