Paris' Hotel Le Bristol Wins Palace Distinction Honors

Paris' Hotel Le Bristol Wins Palace Distinction Honors
This distinction is the first-ever awarded in the French hotel industry. A commemorative plaque was presented to Didier Le Calvez, president and general manager of Hôtel Le Bristol, by Frédéric Lefebvre, Secretary of Commerce. Hôtel Le Bristol has been owned by only two European families since its opening in 1925; first the Jammet Brothers and then the Oetker family, who acquired the property in 1978. In the same year, the Oetker Collection was established. Other properties in the collection include Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany; Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc on the French Riviera; and Château Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence, France.
