Australia’s national carrier, Qantas, has today released discounted airfares for flights to Australia and New Zealand from its United States gateways.
The Australia and New Zealand “Red Tail Sale” will run 11-16 July 2023 across all cabins for varying travel periods in 2023 and 2024. Discounts vary from route to route and selected travel dates and days apply.

Fares are available for sale at qantas.com. Qantas international fares include checked baggage, food and beverages, and in-flight entertainment as standard with every booking.
COVID credits received during the pandemic can be used when booking the sale fares at qantas.com for travel through December 2024 and earn Double Points. Customers can use the new ‘Find My Credit’ tool at Qantas.com to locate and apply credits to their booking.
The sale comes as Qantas continues to restore capacity in line with strong travel demand and the broader recovery of the aviation industry. From late October 2023, flights from Los Angeles to Melbourne will increase from daily to nine per week, increasing capacity by around 60 per cent with more A380 flying. Flights from New York to Sydney via Auckland will increase from three to four per week.
The airline has also started to roll out a multi-million-dollar investment in new menus, larger meals and premium produce across all cabins in its regional, domestic and international network, including on flights from the United States.
