Regent Beijing Voted Among China's Top Ten Hotels
The 5-star address just a stone's throw from the fabled Forbidden City was ranked 7th in China in the prestigious global awards recognizing the world's top hotels.

Regent Beijing was one of only three hotels in the capital in China's Top 10 – along with five Hong Kong hotels and two in Shanghai.

Condé Nast Traveler applauded the hotel's “extremely spacious” rooms filled with traditional artwork and “wonderfully deep soaking tubs” and “large picture windows that allow sweeping views of the Forbidden City”.

Readers singled out The Serenity Spa for its treatments from China, Thailand and Europe and noted: “The pool is fabulous.”

The latest accolade for the luxurious 500-room property nestled between Beijing's sleek, modern business district and the ancient hutongs of traditional China follows last year's recognition in the Hurun Presidential Suite Awards 2011.

It was honoured for both "Top Presidential Suite” in Beijing that “elegantly interweaves contemporary luxury with the exquisite charm of historic China”, as well as “Best Chinese/Western Fusion Style" cuisine. Regent Beijing was also voted "One of the World's Best Hotels" last year by travel website Expedia.

"This latest recognition by Conde Nast Traveler's savvy international travelers underlines our commitment to firmly establish Regent Beijing's renown among the very best hotels in the world, offering the best in 21st century hospitality without sacrificing Chinese tradition,” said Managing Director George Benney.
