The Suite Carré d’Or is a true gem where every detail of the decoration creates an overall experience of rare elegance.
Located on the top floor of the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, the prestigious Suite Carré d’Or offers, from its terrace, an exceptional view of Monte-Carlo, the Carré d’Or quarter and its Belle Époque Casino, its beautiful gardens, and the Mediterranean Sea at the horizon.
“This suite is well-named because it is the most beautiful suite in Monaco, offering a remarkable view of the Mediterranean and the Casino, which is, architecturally speaking, a legend in the Principality that continues to inspire us with a certain exotic majesty . Everything about this suite radiates luxury. We needed to emphasise it even more, not in an ostentatious way, but with touches of elegance, comfort, culture and refinement.” – Jacques Garcia
To find the perfect balance between tradition and modernity, elegance and comfort, Jacques Garcia chose to cover the walls of this suite with textiles by Pierre Frey, a great name in fabric design.
These ivory wall coverings, in shades of pink, light blue, lilac green and purple, blend perfectly with the honey-coloured parquet floor, the Louis XVI furniture and the large lounge decorated with a library of over 100 books.
Natural light fills the space through the large bay windows, which open onto a terrace elegantly adorned with plants carefully selected by landscape designer Jacques Messin.
The spacious bedroom opens onto a dressing area with a vanity. The generous bathroom, featuring marble, stoneware, and mahogany wood, includes a large jet shower, a wide bathtub, and two separate basins.
The Carré d’Or Suite may be reserved on its own or together with a connecting Deluxe Room. The Prestige floor, which includes six exceptional suites, can be fully privatised, offering an ideal setting for entertaining family and friends in the utmost privacy.
