Relax with Kim Kosters: Available now-April 30, 2023

The tranquil COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives is a restorative destination and is proud to be partnering with Kim Kosters as the property's visiting practitioner until April 2023. Kosters is a certified physiotherapist, with 15 years of experience working in private clinics and hospitals globally. Kosters specializes in physiotherapy practices, massage treatments, and movement classes – including Pilates and yoga techniques - to release tension in both the body and mind, in addition to helping visitors live pain-free. Following a short lifestyle consultation to tailor the treatment journey, spa guests can choose from a range of physiotherapy and massage therapies to soothe muscles, correct posture, boost the immune system, aid digestion, and remove toxins.

Dive into Underwater Photography with Henley Spiers and Jade Hoksbergen: April 17-30, 2023

This spring, travelers can explore a new world beneath the blue sea with award-winning underwater photographers Henley Spiers and Jade Hoksbergen. The celebrated couple will be in residence at COMO Maalifushi in April 2023, providing a host of exciting activities. Guests can learn the craft of underwater photography from industry experts or have their own underwater portraits taken by Spiers and Hoksbergen while exploring the colorful house reef. Programming begins at $600 per person. Scuba equipment, the services of a guide or photographer, and electronic copies of at least five high-res photos are included in the total cost.

Escape to Thailand for a Women’s Wellness Retreat: April 21-23, 2023

COMO Point Yamu will offer a retreat designed for women co-led by Renata Citrons – a yoga teacher, sound healer, and art therapist – and Dr. Benita Perch, a naturopathic physician, and homeopath. Travelers will have the chance to spend a weekend learning about and embracing the changes in womanhood. At an additional cost, travelers can also choose to have an optional 70-minute online consultation with Dr. Benita Perch following their stay at COMO Point Yamu to receive tailored recommendations for their lifestyle based on medical history. The retreat requires a minimum of 12 guests and features accommodation in the on-site suites and villas, daily breakfast at La Sirena, access to the three-day wellness itinerary, and a welcome COMO Shambhala ‘Blood of the Earth’ juice per guest. Stays begin at $562 per night for a single occupancy-style accommodation.

Learn to Kitesurf with Youri Zoon: May 1-31, 2023

From May 1-31, travelers can enjoy guided kitesurfing with COMO Cocoa Island's resident athlete: two-time kitesurfing world champion Youri Zoon. Guests can pick up speed, tricks, and airtime with his expert guidance and take their kitesurfing to the next level — or learn the basics with a beginner session. Activities with Zoon can be arranged at leisure, with plenty of time to make the most of the resort’s private island comforts, including massage treatments overlooking the ocean, sandbank dinners under the stars, and more.

Enjoy Two Nights of Wellness in Perth: June 9-11, 2023

This summer, travelers staying at COMO The Treasury will have the chance to escape their everyday routine with the uplifting Sodashi Retreat by COMO Shambhala – along with a two-night stay in the tranquil hotel starting from AU$3,850 in a Heritage Room for two. This June, travelers staying at COMO Uma Paro and COMO Uma Punakha will have the chance to slow down and shoot with purpose while traversing the breathtaking landscape of Bhutan. Accompanied by Michael Turek – an acclaimed American photographer – visitors will venture into the Himalayan Kingdom’s remote reaches to capture its natural and cultural beauty. Throughout the retreat, Turek will focus on Leica models and a blended exposure technique he has developed specifically for Leica film cameras. He will be joined by Leica specialist Peter Dooling, who heads up the camera brand's Photo Workshops Program worldwide. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy holistic wellness treatments at our COMO Shambhala Retreats and world-class cuisine.

Kickstart Holistic Wellbeing with Koya Webb: July 30-August 13, 2023

Travelers visiting either COMO Cocoa Island or COMO Maalifushi this summer will have the opportunity to join resident expert practitioner Koya Webb for daily complimentary yoga classes. Through various movements, mindfulness, and meditation techniques, Webb will help unlock guests’ most profound relaxation state and set transformational intentions for the weeks and months ahead.

Flow with the Curry Sisters in Tuscany: October 22-28, 2023.

COMO Castello Del Nero will welcome Andrea and Christina Curry from October 22-28. This wellness journey will include twice-daily yoga sessions with close guidance from the Curry sisters, fuelled by meals at Pavilion. After the morning class each day, travelers will have time to immerse themselves in experiences around the estate, including truffle-hunting, before returning to the studio to participate in a late afternoon yoga session. Guests can stay with a partner or alone in elegant accommodations, overlooking the groves and vineyards of the resort grounds.
