As the Winter season draws near, Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel introduces its 2023/2024 festive programming, inviting guests and families to embrace the holidays under the theme of “The Warmth of a Magical Christmas.” With the celebratory nature of the holidays coming alive in an array of glittering decor and curated events, the festive season at Rome Cavalieri will have its Italian customs take on a unique twist, through exquisite culinary experiences, can’t-miss performances, revitalizing spa treatments, and more.
Christmas Eve & Day
Uliveto Restaurant & Terrace, headed by Executive Chef Fabio Boschero, will host two distinct dining experiences for guests. The festivities begin on Christmas Eve with a five-course dinner paired with sommelier selections. Beginning the evening, guests will arrive to a warm welcome from the Chef with seafood delicacies, with highlights including a first course of Redfish Tortelloni Pasta, a main course of Grouper “in bellavista,” and Piedmontese Rib Eye in an herb crust. The dinner rounds out the night with delectable pastries by Pastry Chef Dario Nuti (€120 per person). On Christmas Day, Uliveto will host its iconic Sunday Brunch in the Garden Lobby with traditional Italian cuisine and holiday specials. In true Christmas fashion, Santa Claus will arrive on his sleigh with gifts for young guests (€190 per adult, €95 per children).
Sweet Festive Delights
From December 24, 2023 to January 6, 2024, Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace presents an early evening holiday Tea (€38 per person). This delightful experience will be hosted in the iconic lounge and paired with Christmas creations from Pastry Chef Dario Nuti. Adults who wish to continue the festivities will be able to enjoy the rich selection of indulgent Christmas Cocktails, such as the exclusive Chocolate Martini (€21 per person), and a festive aperitif.
Exceptional New Year Festivities
Guests are invited to commemorate the New Year through a variety of indulgent and captivating events throughout the evening on December 31, including a newly introduced, must-see cirque-style live performance. Orchestrated by Artistic Director Anatolii Zalevskyi, worldwide performer and Golden Clown winner at the Montecarlo Festival, the magnificent show will be set in the Salone dei Cavalieri grand ballroom, and envelop guests in a night of wonderment and magic.
To continue the festivities, guests will be treated to a dazzling five-course wine and champagne-paired New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. Menu standouts include a “Sea” main course of John Dory fish in parsley wrap and fingerling potatoes, followed by a “Land” main course of Deer Filet in black truffle crust. In true Italian tradition, attendees will ring in the New Year with a final course of Lentils and “cotechino” pork sausage (€415 per person). Guests may also visit the Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace for the Golden Bubbles celebration. Here, attendees will be serenaded with live music and enjoy select bottles of Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial with petits fours and canapés (€220 per person).
The holiday celebrations conclude with the hotel’s celebrated Italian-style Brunch on January 1st. Guests can toast the New Year with sweet and savory dishes, along with entertainment, games, and music for the little ones (€180 per adult, €90 per child). In a similar fashion, to mark the end of the festive season, Uliveto will host an Epiphany Brunch on January 6th, offering a surprise appearance from La Befana, arriving with sweet treats (€135 per adult, €55 per child).
Radiant Spa Offerings
The award-winning Cavalieri Grand Spa Club is featuring its Caviar Lifting and Firming Facial by spa partner La Prairie to embody a “Radiant Christmas”. The luxurious treatment lifts and firms the skin and is complete with caviar pearls and a caviar-infused eye and face massage to ensure a transformation of one’s complexion. For added restorative effects targeting hydration and nourishment, the professional spa team will utilize the Skin Caviar Harmony l’Extrait. (€165 for 50 minutes, €220 for 80 minutes).
For a fresh start to the New Year, the Cavalieri Grand Spa Club is showcasing the Natura Bissé Mediterranean Journey treatment, which was exclusively developed for Rome Cavalieri. Allowing guests to select their sensory mood, the massage is customizable to ensure vitality, inviting a wave of freshness, and detoxifying both mind and body. The firming facial treatment will leave guests feeling brighter, hydrated, and restored (€270 for 100 minutes).

Offering special holiday rates starting at €345 per night inclusive of breakfast and VAT taxes, guests will feel enthralled by the playful luxury, grand art, and sense of Roman hospitality.
