Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco Celebrates Tuscany's Grape Harvest
For vino aficionados interested in partaking in the action, Massimo Ferragamo's historic Tuscan estate, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, is the ultimate destination for the highly anticipated Vendemmia, or grape harvest, this fall. A leading producer of Brunello di Montalcino, Castiglion del Bosco's winery has just announced two Fall Harvest Experiences that allow guests to immerse themselves in the estate's deeply rooted wine-making traditions, from vine to barrel:

The Harvest Event

On Thursday, September 29, the first day of Castiglion del Bosco's fall harvest, the property's Enologist Cecilia Leoneschi and her vineyard team will kick off the harvest with a day-long immersion into the harvest. Equipped with a Harvest Kit (including scissors, gloves and boots), guests will learn how to pick the grapes, various harvest techniques and more. The experience includes:

• Guided tour of the vineyards to learn how to pick the Sangiovese grapes
• Guided tour of the winery to learn about the Brunello di Montalcino production
• Educational wine-tasting experience
• Picnic in the vineyards

The Harvest Experience

From September 29-October 7, a daily tour of the vineyards and winery will be offered every morning at 10 AM. The experience includes:

• Guided tour of the vineyards to learn how to pick the Sangiovese grapes
• Guided tour of the winery to learn about the Brunello di Montalcino production
• Educational wine-tasting experience
• Harvest Kit is provided (boots, gloves, and scissors)
