Rosewood CordeValle Recognized as One of the Best Golf Resorts in California

Rosewood CordeValle, the idyllic resort in Northern California, was recently recognized in the 2019 Golf Digest’s Editors’ Choice Awards in the “Best Golf Resorts – California” category. This is the third consecutive year Rosewood CordeValle has been distinguished as a top golf resort in the region by the esteemed publication.

The prestigious award builds upon Rosewood CordeValle’s prior list of golf accolades, including Head Golf Instructor Jon Horner’s recognitions on Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers by State” and “Best Young Teachers in America” lists in 2017 and 2016 respectively, and the resort’s 1st Assistant Golf Professional Evan Ives’ honor as “Resort Merchandiser of the Year” in the Professional Golfers’ Association’s 2017 Awards of Excellence. In 2015, Rosewood CordeValle’s course was also ranked number 44 on Golf Digest’s list of “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.” The resort continues to improve its course and golf offerings with the goal of future inclusions on this revered list.

Entering its fourth year, The Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Awards identify “The Best Things in Golf” with an emphasis on property courses, products and services. The winning resorts are hand-selected by Golf Digest’s editors after a competitive deliberation process.

Nestled in the countryside of San Martin, California, just 30 minutes south of San Jose, Rosewood CordeValle features a 260-acre, 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the legendary golf course architect. Offering unobstructed views of the Santa Cruz Mountains with dramatic contours and elevation changes, the golf course makes innovative use of Northern California’s hillsides, canyons and broad meadows. The acclaimed golf resort has garnered recognition for its stunning golf offerings from some of America’s most prestigious golfing magazines including Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and GolfWeek. This month, Rosewood CordeValle’s award-winning course will undergo a resurfacing project that will refresh the greens for a smoother, more enjoyable golfing experience. The course will re-open for full use this summer 2019.

The latest Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Awards will be published in the May 2019 issue of Golf Digest. The full list of accolades will also be accessible online at https://www.golfdigest.com/.
