Rosewood CordeValle Unveils Newly Refreshed Golf Course

Rosewood CordeValle, the idyllic resort in Northern California, today unveils its recently refreshed golf course following a comprehensive resurfacing project that began in April 2019. Designed by renowned golf architecture firm Robert Trent Jones II LLC, the resort’s course has received critical acclaim since its opening in 1999 and has consistently been included in the top 100 golf courses across the United States ever since.

As part of the three-year project, the resort has restored the course’s landscape to its original glory from twenty years ago. The upgraded course elevates the overall quality of play on the acclaimed greens, boasting a fully re-leveled driving range and tee complexes, a higher-quality turf, completely resurfaced complexes across all 18 greens and sculpted contours that celebrate the natural splendor of the course’s surroundings. These comprehensive upgrades to the course’s greens take the golfing experience to new heights with smoother, championship-pace greens.

Nestled in the countryside of San Martin, California, just 30 minutes south of San Jose, Rosewood CordeValle’s 260-acre, 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the legendary golf course architect. Offering unobstructed views of the Santa Cruz Mountains with dramatic contours and elevation changes, the golf course makes innovative use of Northern California’s hillsides, canyons and broad meadows.
