The Manor Bar, Rosewood Miramar Beach’s sophisticated retreat for handcrafted cocktails, presents the Co-Author Cocktail Series featuring North America’s top bar talent. As The Manor Bar’s new cocktail menu celebrates women in literature, the guest series will feature some of the continent’s most esteemed female spirits professionals making appearances behind the bar, including Christina Veira of Bar Mordecai (ROKU Industry Icon in 2022’s inaugural 50Best North America); Alba Huerta of Julep (2022 James Beard award winner for Outstanding Bar Program); and Julie Reiner of Clover Club (Helen David Lifetime Achievement Award at Tales of the Cocktail 2022).
Each guest will share a selection of cocktails from their respective establishments, along with original drinks developed in collaboration with Rosewood Miramar Beach’s director of bars, Nils Schabert.

Who: • Christina Veira is co-owner of Toronto’s acclaimed Bar Mordecai. Recognized on Canada’s Best Bars list and ranked 47 at the inaugural North America 50Best in 2022, where she was also named the ROKU Industry Icon. She has made the Drink International’s Bar world 100 for the last three consecutive years, rising from #44 to #32. She is additionally the founder of STAVE, a newly launched school offering beverage certifications, hospitality training and customized tasting experiences for industry professionals and consumers alike. • Alba Huerta is an award-winning bartender, author, host and bilingual cocktail educator. Born in Mexico and raised in Texas, Alba’s flagship cocktail bar in Houston, Julep, received the James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program in 2022 and was ranked the 46th Best Bar in North America the same year. Julep has also been named one of the Top Five Bars in the U.S. by Bon Appetit, and was recognized as one of the Best Bars in America by Esquire. • Julie Reiner is co-owner of world-renowned Clover Club in Brooklyn, NY along with Leyenda, and the upcoming Milady in SOHO. She is the author of The Craft Cocktail Party: Delicious Drinks for Every Occasion, and a judge on the upcoming Netflix competition series, “Drink Masters.” Among the most celebrated spirits professionals in business, in 2022 Julie was honored with the Helen David Lifetime Achievement Award at Tales of the Cocktail.
