As art and culture continue to be a driver for travelers all around the world, Rosewood Villa Magna has launched an “Art Merienda” afternoon tea in partnership with Opera Gallery, an international gallery opening their newest location in Madrid in May 2023. Situated in the heart of the Salamanca district, the luxury hotel, is just minutes away from some of the Spanish capital’s most unique art and culture experiences.
From April 20 - September 1, Rosewood Villa Magna will offer guests a unique opportunity to dive into some of the top collections and works of art, led by the hotel's art expert Raquel Saez. The experience will showcase the works of Manola Valdés throughout the hotel and beginning in June, including a visit to the Prado Museum’s upcoming exhibition “Picasso-El Greco” to explore the artistic dialogue between two great artists: Pablo Picasso and El Greco.
The tour will begin at the hotel's elegant gastronomic café Flor y Nata where guests will pick up tea (or coffee) to enjoy for the tour, and conclude with a specialty dessert that pays homage to the origin of Manolo Valdés Valencian - a delicious Eclair of Milk Chocolate and Orange of Valencia.
