Royal Hawaiian Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, is celebrating its Grand Opening Gala March 7 with a three-night Gala package. Included are daily breakfast for two at the Surf Lanai restaurant, two tickets for two to the Grand Opening Gala, two pre-gala event tickets, a historic hotel tour and a take-home gift for $1,680 per room, double. Non-package Gala tickets also are available, with four levels: an individual ticket for $350 per person; a Royal Beach Club Cabana (four guests) for $5,000 with a beachfront cabana featuring food and beverages from the new Azure Restaurant; a Monarch Room ticket (10 guests) with a table for 10 in the Monarch Ballroom; and a private party in the King Kamehameha Suite (50 guests) with food and beverages for $50,000. Entertainment at the Gala will be provided by trumpeter Chris Botti, along with a line up of Grammy Award-winning local artists. Proceeds from the reception benefit the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation (REHAB), established in 1984 to support rehabilitation services to individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. As part of the evening's festivities, guests are invited to an exclusive exhibition curated in partnership with Louis Vuitton Hawaii illustrating the nostalgic era of luxury travel in Waikiki and its move into modern history.
