Royal Hideaway Playacar Announces Luxury Offerings for Summer
The adult-only, all inclusive model affords guests the upmost in service and privacy while providing a uniquely sophisticated vacation experience. The hotel is well known for being one of the most luxurious in the region, and announced several summer offerings to elevate the guest experience.

High Tea Service: A perfect mid-afternoon break, the elegant service is prepared daily on the terrace with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, a cup of gourmet coffee, or some delicious English tea paired with canapés, specialty sandwiches and handcrafted cakes. The classy spread is set up in a whimsical display and is accompanied by live music, from harp players to violin to soft jazz.

New Tequilaria and Tequila Master Class: As an homage to the Mexican national drink, Royal Hideaway has designed a new Tequilaria, a beautiful space dedicated to tequila in all its forms. The space is highlighted by a bar of both classic and atypical selections, and also includes a program of tequila produced by small, micro producers that are as good, if not better, than many of the big name brands, but don’t have the economies of scale to sell beyond their immediate region. In addition, the resort hosts a daily Tequila Master Class that ventures through the history of the spirit, while guests sample from each of the major types of Tequila — Blanco, Reposado & Añejo.

Chef’s Table: Led by Chef Amando, the Chef’s Table is wondrous look into the world of the professional kitchen for a multiple course wine pairing dinner. Guests watch the staff hard at work from behind a glass wall, which is built into a beautiful dining room set in the kitchen. The chef’s menu is a creative delight of local flavors utilizing innovative combinations (that are not on the menu) and sometimes offering experiential techniques. In addition to being able to see the kitchen through the glass wall, guests can also check out a TV mounted inside the dining room which shows a closer “Chef’s Vision” view of what the executive chef, in particular, is doing.
