With one of the most monumental moments in royal history approaching, King Charles’ official coronation on May 6th will be broadcast for the entire world enticing British royal fans to travel like a king. From a Princess Diana Suite in Chicago to a newly debuted royal suite with exclusive access to one of London’s largest garden squares, here are the suites:
Royalty-Inspired London Stay: Steps from Harrods (where Queen Elizabeth’s secret annual Christmas shopping allegedly took place), Carlton Tower Jumeirah’s grand Royal Suite (pictured) regally boasts two entertaining areas, powder room, balcony, grand marble bathroom and exclusive access to Cadogan Place Gardens—one of the largest garden squares in Chelsea and home to acres of lawns, sculptures, a 'pollinator meadow' and more. Fit for royals, English high tea is led by Jessica Prealpato, the first woman to be named the world’s best pâtissière chef.
Princess Diana Suite: Meant to be experienced exactly as Princess Diana did in 1996, The Drake Hotel’s Princess Diana Suite comes with her fav requests including a Lifecycle bike and ample mineral water. The suite has been left exactly as it was decorated and designed for the Princess, with the addition of framed pictures of her stay throughout. The 1,500sq ft suite features crystal chandeliers, grand entranceway, marble foyer, living and dining areas plus views of Lake Michigan.
Queen Elizabeth Suites: Hosting countless celebrities and dignitaries over its 93-year history, Hilton Chicago’s two redesigned Imperial Suites pay homage to Queen Elizabeth II. Before the Queen hosted a banquet at the hotel in 1959, both 2,100-square-foot apartments on the 26th floor were first launched in 1955 and offer enough space for up to 100 guests for private gatherings. Both feature a master bedroom, double guest room, kitchen, nightcap station, dining table, white onyx fireplace and furnishings with emerald, sapphire and gold touches.
Charles and Diana Italian Honeymoon Site: Fans visiting the coastal Italian destination of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s “second honeymoon” (and buzzworthy season 5 premier of The Crown) can book Capri Palace Jumeirah’s Sky Junior Suite. Perched on the top floor, the suite overlooks the Bay of Naples and island of Ischia from a private infinity pool and features 19th century furnishings, grand white marbles, Champagne and two massages.
