Situated on its own private island just a short boat ride from St. Mark's Square, San Clemente Palace Kempinski has introduced a "Family Paradise" package for travel this summer and fall, offering families a truly luxurious oasis within the bustle of Venice.
The package includes a stay in the resort's Giardini Villa, located in a private corner of the hotel's garden, and just a few steps away from the pool and Kids Club. The villa comes with its own hot tub, private garden and a dedicated golf cart to get around the island. Kids can also take advantage of the daily activities offered at the Kids Club, ranging from Venetian Mask-painting workshops to a game of badminton to treasure-hunting around the island. Additional babysitting services are available, as well. Families will also be treated to a lavish breakfast buffet at the hotel's Insieme Restaurant, and dinner at La Dolce Restaurant, located next to the pool and offering a selection of seasonal Italian dishes, wood-fired pizzas, seafood and classic Mediterranean cuisine.
Giardini Villa
The "Family Paradise" package is available for stays until summer 2020, and starts at €1,000 (approx. US$1,120) per night, based on a family of four (two adults and two children up to the age of 12).
Even more, for the summer season, San Clemente Palace has also introduced its own ice cream bike in collaboration with the famous Italian gelato brand Grom, which travels around San Clemente Island, serving guests scoops of vanilla, stracciatella, pistacchio, chocolate and strawberry ice cream.
