Sanderling Family Resort Unveils Major Renovation, Debuting May 2013

Poised to debut May 2013, Sanderling Resort will unveil a new look including adding seven new guestrooms, two new pools and revitalized restaurant concepts, as well as amenities and programming that define casual elegance at its best. The renovation will enhance the cherished resort with modern amenities that will continue to welcome families for decades to come.

• Two new on-site pools – For adults looking to relax and unwind under the sun, an all-new adults-only Tranquility Pool, accented with cantilever umbrellas, group seating areas and chaise lounges will be introduced along with a family-friendly lagoon-style pool, designed to match the region's topography and temperate climate.

• New poolside guestrooms – Seven brand new poolside guestrooms will be introduced to the resort just steps away from the beach.

• Kimball's Kitchen – Formerly known as the Left Bank, this AAA Four Diamond restaurant will pay homage to the region's rich history and will continue to offer the most comprehensive wine list in the region. The steak and seafood restaurant will feature a raw bar with an extensive oyster selection, steak and seafood entrees with traditional side dishes and artfully composed appetizers, signature dishes and nightly specials.

• Lifesaving Station – An outdoor dining deck will be added to this registered historic landmark that is reimagined as a casual restaurant, along with a complementary new nautical design scheme complete with welcoming fireplaces and an overarching coastal feel.

• Sanderling Event House – Upgraded meeting spaces will be reconfigured to take advantage of the resort's inspiring location, increasing the resorts meetings capacity to 12,000 square feet. Located on the ocean side, the 1,500-square-foot Event House offers indoor seating for up to 100 people for meetings or dining events. The new Event Deck will serve as an outdoor location for wedding ceremonies, receptions and corporate dinners alongside the newly installed fire pit.

• Event Lawn – This brand new outdoor event space on the Atlantic side of the property is perfectly manicured for weddings and special events. The area is complete with an observation deck and is just steps away from the ocean.

• Exterior upgrades – Streets, pathways, lighting and event venues will be revived for a more enchanting outdoor experience.
