Santa Monica's Hotel Shangri-La Unveils Rock 'n Roll Suite
The décor is reminiscent of the deco revival of the 1980s. The suite features a curved wall of windows with a panoramic view of Santa Monica Bay. The main room features deco lines with red, black and white furnishings, including a black leather, studded, king-sized bed with built-in, hideaway cabinets. Other design elements include a floor-to-ceiling mirror and hardwood floors covered by cowhide rugs. In-room amenities include two flat-screen televisions, a private verandah that runs the length of the room, and a six-person shower with a picture window.
