Sawgrass Marriott Honored With Two Golf Awards
Golf Magazine awarded Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa with the Gold Award in reader rankings of Premier Golf Resorts 2014-2015. That's one award category up from the shiny Silver earned last year, placing the resort among only 25 Gold Award winners across North America.

Additionally, LINKS Magazine selected Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa as one of the Top 10 Golf Resorts in Florida.

Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa is adjacent to the world famous TPC Sawgrass, which is home of THE PLAYERS Championship Tournament, birthplace of the TPC (Tournament Players Club) Network, and backdrop to the PGA TOUR headquarters. The resort holds 85% of TPC Sawgrass' tee times, making golf reservations easy for guests staying at the resort. With the renovation, the resort created the TPC Connection cartpath, bringing guests directly from the resort to TPC Sawgrass.

The new Villas at Sawgrass were also created as a result of the renovation, which are spacious one and two-bedroom villas equipped with a living room and kitchenette. These villas are the perfect addition to allow golf buddy groups to share private accommodations where they can kick back and relax after a day on the links. The expansive rooms and living room can fit golf clubs and gear without taking up too much space.
