Schloss Elmau, the Iconic Spa Resort in the Bavarian Alps, Reopens

Schloss Elmau, the destination spa, resort and cultural retreat in the Bavarian Alps, officially reopened on May 21, following Germany's several extended hotel closings due to the pandemic. This reopening comes just in time, as the EU recently announced its official opening to vaccinated travelers this summer.

The historic hotel has taken advantage of the temporary closure and is debuting several upgrades, including a renovated concert hall. Later this summer, Fidelio, the Asian-fusion restaurant, will reopen following a renovation. There will also be a seventh pool (adding to the existing six, all of which are heated year-round, 24 hours a day).

With its six lavish spas, five restaurants and spectacular alpine setting, Schloss Elmau is ideal for a post-pandemic retreat. To that end, the hotel is committed to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene measures throughout every touch point of the guest experience.
