So many times, when a location is touted as adventurous, you will conjure up the vision of rustic. However, at Harbour Village Beach Club, you will never sacrifice luxury and non-stop indulgence for non-stop adventure. Harbour Village offers 38 intimate accommodations with all the privacy of a residential stay. It also touts the only private beach on the island, complete with hammocks for relaxation, complimentary lounge chairs and beach towels, as well as toes-in-the-sand service from the resort's La Balandra Restaurant and Bar (located overwater and designed after an antique Spanish ship, giving the feeling of sailing with its dining deck located on a jetty extending out to sea). Guests find friendly scuba and snorkeling instructors at the on-site 5 Star PADI dive shop, a 64-slip marina and mega-yacht dock, plus lots of on-land pursuits to keep busy if getting in the water isn't their thing (aromatherapy massage, anyone?). “STRESS BE GONE” you have found paradise.
Current offer:
Harbour Village Beach Club just launched an amazing "Early Booking Bonus • Dive FREE Special” that allow guests to enjoy complimentary diving when booking seven (7) nights in select accommodations by March 15, 2016, for travel May 15 - June 15, 2016, and includes SIX boat dives and UNLIMITED shore diving. Divers have long tried to keep Bonaire a secret, and although it touts first-rate scuba diving (and the best in the Caribbean), for those who aren't certified, it's still a slice of heaven.
This Dutch Caribbean island is one of the most highly regarded scuba diving destinations in the world, surrounded by azure water clearer than glass and reefs that stretch out like submerged cities near the shoreline. Hundreds of species of fish and coral permeate this government-protected marine sanctuary, and with more than 60 diving sites, easily accessible and marked with a painted stone from the shore, wrap around its western coast, with another two dozen or so at uninhabited islet Klein Bonaire, a half-mile boat ride away. The closest dive site, a 60-foot Danish shipwreck, is only 50 yards from the shore. Accessible by beach, it is great for the beginning diver or snorkeler/ The resort offers a variety of activities for the novice to the seasoned diver. The beginner can learn intro level skills with the daylong course Discover Scuba Diving, including instruction and a shallow skill session followed by a shore dive, which can be counted towards certification if you choose to advance. The more advanced diver might be intrigued by the many instructive and professional courses, certifications and packages, especially the Fluorescence Night Diving class. Guests are equipped with a blue light which produces bio-luminescence, lighting up certain marine life in a stunning show of colors. You can also take that photography class you've been dreaming about...underwater of course. Harbour Village can even accommodate guests little guppies. With plenty of activities for youth (as well as babysitting services), the small ones will be growing fins in no time. In a safe environment, children (5+) can learn to snorkel, or they can begin to earn their diving certification (10+).
