The prestigious Shangri-La Suite, designed by Francesca Muzio and Maria Silvia Orlandini, co-founders of lauded Italian design atelier FM – Architettura d'Interni Studio features exquisite custom-made furniture and high-grade silk wallpaper in a refined palette of champagne, citrine and bronze, designed and produced by Muzio, Orlandini and a team of over 250 highly skilled craftsmen from around the world. It also boasts the specially designed Shangri-La Bed featuring patented body-contouring technology and fitted with Frette 1,000-threadcount linen; a grand marble-clad bathroom with integrated television and mirror screens, an expansive walk-in dressing chamber, fine crystal glassware and a well-equipped private pantry, allowing for Shangri-La's Dine by Design dining experience. The suite may also be connected to an adjacent room, enabling its conversion into a two-bedroom suite with a total living space of 232 square meters (about 2,497 square feet).
Two further sumptuous Signature Suites, also designed by FM – Architettura d'Interni Studio and also presenting sophisticated custom furniture, carpets and silks, the London Suite and the Westminster Suite are situated on levels 37 and 38, respectively. All three Signature Suites each enjoys its own unique layout, although all combine the formal elegance of Shangri-La's Asian heritage with the innovation of The Shard's architecture through a richness of precious details and an expanse of natural light.
