The dog days of summer have arrived at W Nashville: The pet-friendly property has partnered with local nonprofit Nashville Humane Association (NHA) to launch a series of purpose-driven promotions to support shelter animals in Nashville during National Dog Month (August).
Animal shelters can sometimes be a scary and overwhelming place for adoptable dogs, so W Nashville—a luxury lifestyle hotel that opened in Music City’s vibrant Gulch neighborhood in October 2021—is providing one of its modern-luxe guestrooms every Tuesday in August for a dog lover and NHA resident to enjoy a special Rover Night at W Nashville free of charge to decompress and be spoiled. The package includes overnight accommodations, overnight valet parking, $50 onsite food & beverage credit and more. Additionally, NHA will provide a crate, towels, collar, treats, dog meals and an “Adopt Me” leash in which the adoptable dog can wear throughout the property to socialize and meet potential adopters.
Hotel guests and Nashville locals are also invited to bring their own dogs to play with puppies during the W Nashville Yappy Hour with NHA on International Dog Day (Fri., Aug. 26) from 4 – 6 p.m. in W Nashville’s lobby-level Living Room Bar and outdoor terrace. The free event will include an NHA puppy play pen with a group of puppies to play with, love on and hold; live music; shopping from local pet vendors; and specialty cocktails and dog swag from beverage partner Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Lastly, W Nashville is giving all guests the opportunity to give back to the worthy organization all month long. The property’s onsite bars will offer a specialty cocktail from which $1 from every cocktail sold will benefit NHA, and at the end of the month, W Nashville will match the donation dollar for dollar.
