As the property’s official opening draws closer, sbe has released a first-look at renderings of rooms and common spaces, envisioned by sbe’s cutting-edge design team, Dakota Development, and Avenue Interior Design. Upon entering the property guests are greeted with an eclectic mixture of modern and classic furniture upholstered in textural neutrals, linens, whites and creams. Rose pink, black and white stripes and acid yellow accents fill the space, emphasized by a floor to ceiling SLS tapestry that hangs from the walls featuring a timeless library graphic.

The property’s sprawling terrace will offer a unique and colorful collection of furniture and finishes. Guests can relax on the comfortable living room style dining sofas upholstered in the property’s trademark black and white stripes, day beds, or the French café chairs dressed in yellow green and orange. A high-top teak and marble communal table offers the perfect setting to enjoy breakfast or a sunset cocktail. SLS LUX will also offer one of the few private pools in Baha Mar, available only to hotel guests. The pool features a collection of seating vignettes, encouraging relaxation and ease.

Guestrooms are playful yet classic featuring a neutral palette of whites grays and baby blues. The walls are adorned with signature SLS tapestry custom painted with Bahamian architectural graphics, a nod to Bahamian culture in SLS’ signature style. Cleo, located in the hotel lobby, captures the vibrancy of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, where award-winning Chef Danny Elmaleh takes you on a culinary adventure, adapting his original menu with local Bahamian flavors and ingredients. Katsuya by Starck, located on the Baha Mar casino floor, pairs Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi’s fresh take on Japanese classics with sleek and sultry interiors in a unique sushi restaurant. Chef Uechi skillfully evolves Japanese sushi and robata classics with inspired dishes including Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño and Miso-Marinated Black Cod.
